This page explains how to send a digestion in, and how to indicate your interest in finding people to collaborate with. Multiple digestions and teamwork are encouraged.

How to submit a digestion

  1. Choose a paper from the list below. If you want, you may express your interest in digesting it with a team. In this case, your name will stand next to the paper, so others may contact you to coordinate a team digestion.
  2. Write the digestion. Present the paper as you would like to read it. You may follow the argument of Bourgain, propose simpler test cases, include multiple proofs with different ideas, or even explore more general results and followup questions.
  3. Send it by email to : Send us the expanded .tex source and the PDF it compiles to, together with the title and year of the paper, your name as it should appear, any additional repositories or videos you created, and a note on whether and how AI was used.
  4. We read it. Once it is in, the paper is listed under Digested articles.
  5. Other contributions or comments. If you have any comments or anecdotes about Bourgain that you wish to share, want to point out connections between his works, want to elucidate part of his toolkit, want to help map out the global geometry or influence of his work, or have any other constructive comments, please feel free to reach out to the maintainers.
